Past ex gets married and I'm bothered?

I dated this girl (she was 16 and I was 18 ) from 07-08 for a year and 2 weeks and she broke up with me 2 days before my birthday. I am not very good at the whole being friends with ex's afterwords it just doesn't work for me. In 2009 on our anniversary I left and joined the service and here we are... It's been 1 year and roughly 6 months after we broke up. Well she meet this guy and they have been dating about 7 months and now they are married. I'm not sure why this is bothering me so much?? I know I don't have feelings for her, it's kind of just the scenario of why? Anyone else have similar feelings before?

Maybe deep inside you DO have feelings OR maybe you hope that you too can find someone to marry and live happily with. I have never been in that situation but, that is just my look at it.

Just don't fall into the trap of thinking he's better than you or you're not good or whatever. It's been a while now, and you've both changed, so just do your best to put it in the nether regions of your mind.
