i don't know if he likes me or just playing around

There is a guy named a.j., and he asked me out 2 months ago. and i said no b/c since he is a year younger than me i asked my friends about it and they were like u can't go out with a person younger than you so i turned him down. Now i relise that i should have gone with my heart and went out with him b/c i truly do like him but now i don't kno if he likes me anymore. we flirt....alot, and when ever like, a guy that i don't want around me come around he will protect me in lack of a better term. He calls me about once every 2 or 3 days. but there is a down fall....he always flirts with other gurls right in front of my face and it gets me fustrated. and then sometimes he will make excuses not to call me. but i still don't kno. can some one help me please?

Well, I think he is just slightly unhappy over the fact that you dumped him, and he is doing this flirting with other people to show you that he isn't powerless. Just go up to him and say that you like him. I have faith that it'll work. Good Luck.
