Just curious, would anyone use a dating service? Anyone with any experiences? Is it a good alternative for a busy professional that does not get the chance to meet new people?

I had no experience with it but my thought is that it definitely cant hurt to try it. Its not like you have anything to lose but a few bucks if anything at most

Thought about it, but the service I looked into was over $1000 a month. If I did not have my loan to pay off, sure I could manage that, but I would hope I could find someone on my own. Given that online dating returned terrible terrible results, not interested in that again either

Dating services are $$. There is one in my area that cost $4K for 12 matches! $4K...who can afford that?

 

I just wish I met people easier. I'm independent and can be an introvert who talks waaayyy to much when she's nervous, so I've been trying to force myself out of the house, even if it just to take my book and read in the park.
