Lain
I wonder why I bother to care When I turn around there is noone there If I were to drop dead or die right now You'd be bound to think of me by a vow The colors keep slowly fading away The real world, the routine, and its sway I don't want to wear a mask anymore If I can't be me, what my life is for!? Deep down inside I may soon be dead If you care to help, be my life-saving thread I need just a bit, let me make you see How lost I am in the ocean of me I feel more behind every single thing You ironically laugh at what makes me sing I easily get what you're fighting for I told you I'm different down to the core Link to comment
vfunkera
hey 'Lain'- firstly, i really like your name. I also like your poem, i thought it was really simple, but also quite clever as well. I'll try to make one of those soon (my poems are quite long!) Link to comment
neva_black_n_white
i really like your poems it seems you adapt your style each time, but i think with this one you really laying your heart on a line you know? its like your not hiding something but they are. its like why do something just to waste a moment that could have been. despite knowing that life is the longest thing we factually know and will experiance you still have to think that maybe if one thing had changed and one thing done differently in a split milisecond that all and everything could have been different. and i believe that you are saying that this is me, i want to be accepted, i can live the emotions i used to have because i felt sufficated and within a lie but now your free. you know? sorry its just my inpression. kel Link to comment
