irie33
this happens to me too much.... i'll be chatting with someone, usually about nothing too important and the conversation hits an uncomfortable lull. my initial reaction is to just think of something to say and start talking, but then i won't be able to think of anything. anyone have any tips on making it through that less awkwardly, or end the conversation? waveseer
I have a favorite phrase to use in just exactly those types of situations, "Gotta run, see you later!" Link to comment
catfeeder
Hah! I tried addressing this last night, but it got too uncomfortable. Might help if you'd offer some specific situations. For instance, are co-workers trapping you, or are you pooping out at parties? One single exit line may not fit all--especially if you're trying to get away while still remaining in a building. In your corner. Link to comment
