Europe and Eurail

Hi guys,

 

I'm planning to travel right accross Europe for around 3months in summer of next year. I've heard that Eurail is an easyway to travel.

I've checked the prices, for a global pass, 20 countries, i could travel for 3months for $1600 AUD.

 

Would this be the cheapest way to travel? And also if anyone has any experience with Eurail or train travel in Europe, please give me any advice!

 

And any other alternative way of traveling will be much appreciated.

I would definitely get Eurail to travel in Italy (Milan, Florence, Rome, Venice, etc...)

 

Train travel in Europe is absolutely amazing though. Plus you get to see awesome landscapes =)
