It doesn't make it easier, When i look into your eyes, When i'm sad or lonely, Its still you i wish would hear my cries. I was mistaken, I thought there was more, But reality has hit, Its over for sure. You aren't coming back, Its not me at all, You are never going to be there, To catch me as i fall. So as i slip through the fingertips, Of the others i do love, Its still your hands, I wish would guide me like a peacful dove. As we hit the ground, I would look in your eye, I would smile, I would cry. But these moments are dreams, That shall never come true, So just know that i am happy now, Just know i shall get over you.
