Anyone know about effexor?

I have been taking the depression drug effexor for about two weeks, i have been seriously losing my appitite. I have already lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks from the medicine. I have also not felt any better but i feel like it is working a little bit anyone ever take this medicine? Should i keep on trying it? thanks guys

You should go and see you doctor again about the side efeect your having sucg as the seriously lossing your appetite. All side effects are not present in every one. So with this specific drug or any other drug if your not confortable with it return to the doctor. Discuss what is doing on and he will most likely change or drug or the strength. I hope this helps

i personally dont think that anti-depressants help at all, they dont comfront the problems, they just cover them up, i think that people who r depresst need the talk to people and deal with the problems

When I was on effexor, I experienced a loss in appetite as well,

I don't know it kind of worked but it made me feel too strange, perhaps your shrink should lower your dose.
