    Apparently, Whole Foods is a great place to meet potential lovers. Or so I've heard. lol

    Quantities of food are huge in the US - which is great if it is fresh produce, chicken, fish and other healthy foods. Not so good if it is junk food. Transportation is probably a big factor in Australia's high food costs, I guess. It's a large country and I live in one of the most isolated capitals in the world.

    I've generally noticed that food prices in the US are considerably lower than here. The UK is similar, even if you account for the differences in the value of the US dollar, the British pound and the Australian dollar. Also, we don't get spinach in a massive 1m X 1m pack.

    We're fairly lucky this year. I think it is only going to be around 26 degrees celcius on Christmas day, but it's going to heat up in the new year. Usually Christmas day is really hot...like 40 degrees celcius.

    I have to say, now that I am eating healthy, I don't enjoy junk food like I use to. Had pizza tonight for my week's cheat meal and I feel like absolute crap. Cheat meals are a good reminder of how much better you feel eating better.
