I know he wasn't the one but it still hurts

Hello all,

I just need some reassurance. So we broke up about a week ago and I can't help but miss him... We broke up over the fact that we were just too different (future plans, religion, etc.) and the fact that he could not tell me how he felt about me after almost a year.. I know deep down that he isn't the one for me but it still hurts...

I don't think I was in love with him because I have been in love before.. I guess I'm just scared that I won't find anybody else and that I was just being needy in the relationship by wanting him to talk about his feelings.. I just need reassurance that there are better fish in the sea.. Or at least fish that fit better with me

We haven't talked since the night it happened and we used to talk everyday.. Could it just be loneliness?

I can assure you that you did the right thing. There are plenty of folks out there and I know it does hurt but the time will heal you up. You will find someone who is right for you. Keep your chin up girl.
