annie24 Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I think you should talk to your doctor and figure out what is a good weight for your height. but don't forget, you are a new mom, and nursing moms need extra calories! 189 at 5'4" sounds a bit on the high side, as does 160. It depends on your frame and musculature though talk to your doctor. Link to comment

Because as Annie pointed out it's normal for it to take a while to lose baby weight, or I guess I should say it's not abnormal. But I agree that both weights sound too high for your height. So you should ask your doctor to talk to you about what might be a healthy weight range for you. Link to comment
