"is your dad ok? i saw something on the news about a police officer" i responded with... "oh yeah...hes on vaca, but thanks for wondering i didnt want to ignore him, but i wanted to keep things friendly but pleotonic (sp?). this text was a shock because of all things to say and all the ways to reach me, why would he say something about my dad? is he honestly concerned or is he just trying to keep contact?
