You will probably think this is a really stupid but I have a question about masturbation... When you masturbate over one picture time and time again will the ability to orgasm over this one particular picture eventually wear down to zero? For example do you really need to change what you are looking at to sexually stimulate yourself to orgasm or can you have say 20 different pictures or whatever to look at and that contintually last you? Its like if u listen 2 a song or watch a movie over and over again, u kinda get bored with it an have 2 take a break from that song or movie. If u get what i am saying. ~Danielle Link to comment
Jinx Posted March 19, 2006 Share Posted March 19, 2006 I would assume that the same picture day in and out would cause it to become too schedule like and regular, thus causing it to lose whatever effect it had prior to the individual viewing it. When you go to the roots of it all, the mind is the main sex organ, if it isn't stimulated you're not going to get much. So in saying that if there is no variety, there will be a gradual lessening in effects as it becomes just another part of life. Of course the time span and reliability of this idea probably depends from person to person. There are those which would need constant changes to stay pleased, whereas another may actually be able to stick with the same photograph and fantasy for an extremely long period of time. I just use to be really frigid when it came to sex and if I saw a man or a woman coming/orgasming I thought it was the most dirty thing... But the mental reaction you get from that one picture will go down over time, think of it as just deading your senses, much like most of america has done to violence on television, and (parts) of europe to sex. But back on track. Many people while masterbating get off more of the mental thought than of an image, ( thought helped with video or pictures that is ) so spice up your life and use diffrent material so your mind doesn't need to work as hard. -- On as 2nd note if the image means something to you, ( girlfriend ? ex ? some one that has a personal touch on you ) then that feeling should not die down nearly as quick as just average material. -- just my 2 sense Link to comment
