how to "know"

okay, i am pretty inexperienced at a lot of stuff, so i have a question. my girlfriend and i (we've been dating for about a month) regularly have pretty extended make-out sessions, but i don't know when to go any further than that. further meaning "feeling her up" and stuff like that. how do i know when is the right time? i don't want to do something she doesn't want me to do. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

talk to her about it, say that you respect what she wants as in you don't want to do anything too soon, tell her what you are and aren't ready for as well, and talk about it from there.

You could just brush the outside of her clothes with your hand and see if you get any result. I'm sure you'd know the answer by the way she arches her back or squirms.
