He said it to a woman he was interested in sleeping with. He didn't mean it as a joke and neither did that guy you think is your boyfriend. He said it because he wants his ex at his party so he can, I don't know, hook up with her or try to convince her to get back together. Either way, he has proven he doesn't consider you two to be in a relationship. Link to comment
