So there's this vendor of ours who I've met at meetings and speak to on a regular basis. He wanted some reports from me that i was working on. I was typing on my laptop. At a certain point, he came and sat really close to me and put his hands over mine and started typing on my laptop to show me how the report had to be done. I withdrew my hands and allowed him to take over my keyboard.

 

I found it totally unnecessary and a invasion of my space. Its not like i didn't know how to do it. He could have just told me verbally. Then i wondered if he was flirting with me.

He might have found you attractive and wanted an excuse to touch you. It was inappropriate. Those types of people are those you have to establish boundaries with. Be on guard in the future when he's around, and stop him, ahead of time, if he gets too close. It's always okay to speak up for yourself.
