brilyn027
I have a question and it concerns me. There's no washer/dryer hook up in my apartment. The complex only has a laundry mat. Luckily its located just across the parking lot from is and its only a few feet away from my unit. I did our laundry today. Of course I held my son on one arm while pushing the laundry cart with the other. But thing is that its so dang cold here! It took a a few minutes to get back(due to being slowed down my all the weight I had to carry and push). The ice cold air seriously made my face feel like it was going to get frost bite just cause it was so dang cold. I'm not exaggerating. I mean, it hurt! So I can only imagine how my baby boys face felt when he was out with me. And its not right that children be out in this kind of weather. I think its about 10 degrees right now and I'm still cold from being outside. I dont feel comfortable dragging my son out into the ice cold air but I can't keep him home either, even if its just a couple of minutes. What can I do? Link to comment
Seraphim
It is perfectly fine for kids to be out. Heck , I played outside at -40C as a kid. I am still alive. Your kids will be perfectly fine in the little bit of time it takes to get home. Link to comment
journeynow
How old is your son? What about bundling him into a baby backpack, putting a scarf on each of you to protect your faces? You'd both be warm and you'd have two hands to handle your laundry cart. Link to comment
