bull
this girl i like would never go out with me. she says that it would be like going out with her brother. (her friend told me she said this.) Is there any way to change how she thinks of me? Link to comment
sharp1184
Oh no! Sorry man, the old "I think of you as a brother" nonsense is the oldest trick in the book. People should come right out and say "sorry, but no thanks" but what do they do instead? They say, "You're like a brother YAP YAP". Sorry, tough luck. Link to comment
Raptor
um just because she says she sees you as a brother does not mean she does not like you. but if you 2 are good friends then she could be worried about putting that at risk. I dont know how to approach this because ive never been told to be a friend until after a break up, I'd assume it is the same way. The first thing you need to do is tell her how you feel. Do it in a no pressure way but make it convincing. Tell her all that you want is just a shot and nothing more and would gladly remain friends if things do not work out. Thats what I would do anyways. Amore
Is there any way to change how she thinks of me? Unfortunately, there's nothing we could possibly say or do that could change how she thinks. If we could alter one's free will, then everyone would have who they want, and the world would be a perfect place. I really don't know what to tell you, other than the fact that you should talk to her DIRECTLY rather than believing something her friend said. You don't know for a fact that she actually feels this way until you ask her yourself. Best of luck to you =) Link to comment
DropToZero
Honestly...odds are horribly against you....you dug yourself in a huge 'friend' hole heh.... I think you could change it, but it would take a lot of time and flirting.....its just not likely tho, sorry man. Link to comment
