Looking for some pointers.

I'm just looking for some advice and encouragement.

 

Does anyone have any specific ideas for meeting new people who are reliable with awesome character?

 

I've recently gave one relationship a go with a woman in a helping profession and things did not pan out. I was thinking that being introduced to someone through a friend is better than approaching a complete stranger. If somebody thinks as though the person they're introducing me to is a good person, then I'm all for it. But right now I'm emotionally exhausted and no longer interested in dating just another loser so I'm very reluctant to put myself out there in the dating scene. It took me multiple years to figure out if someone is comfortable with making very poor decisions. If anyone can think of very specific activities, venues, or places to meet a decent woman then please let me know.

If you can crack that one, bottle it, sell it and make a fortune.

 

I would avoid places where girls are just after a fling (girls should avoid those places, too!).

 

I would consider other age groups and nationalities/races.

 

Anyone you meet could be a princess or a frog(ette). There is no easy way of telling.

You could join groups, clubs or teams who are into things that you enjoy. Go where the people are. Night school classes could help, or volunteer somewhere in your area.
