want to get know old friend again

there is this girl that i was kinda friends with about 4 years ago. we haven't talked at all since the grade. i really liked her back then but couldn't say it to her. my feelings subsided for the next few years and now i have this crush on her. i want to ask her to the dance on feb 11th but want to get to know her better before the dance. what is a good thing i can ask her to do. i don't know what she likes to do. another thing, i think one of her friends likes me so i don't what to do.

not to try to make u weiry and all, but that happened to me. i asked the girl out to ice cream and she rejected me. it hurt, but im definitely over it and u gotta take a shot. all girls are different

ok, i'll ask her on wed. but u didn't answer my question, what kinds of things can i ask her to do with me. i was thinking of goin bowling but the bowling alley is too far to walk and i don't want to get a ride from my parents.
