haylie23
Hey, I haven't actually been here before (I'm under my sister's name), but my sister said this was a good site for advice. I have a job interview at a local Target soon. I'm trying to get a job as a cashier. I really don't know what to expect because this is my first interview. Can anyone give me any advice or tips? What kind of things will they ask me? Thanks! ~Carlie Link to comment
7CardStud
just be yourself, be respectful and thank them for giving you a opprotunity at the end. No need to worry, Interview's are as stressful as you want them to be! SO RELAX! ^_^ Link to comment

7CardStud
btw, my first interview for my current job... Dairy QUeen was when i was 15, and I believe that the jobs as we get as teenagers, don't need a very extreme interview... It was very relaxed, they asked me some general questions, and then asked when can you start at the end Now I've been working there over a year and a half, and I have been rewarded for sticking to the DQ through some hard times (raises )....... Anyways, before i let you go, don't talk about money, I have heard a lot of managers complain about people who talk about how much they will get paid... Most interviewer's will give you a estimate based on your application/interview. Link to comment
melrich
Prepare two or three questions to ask. Like, What future career opportunities may be available? How is the training structured? What could I do to fast track my training and understanding of the job/role? It shows you are interested. Link to comment
