Broke NC with a positive response

So it's been about 3 months since we broke up and 2.5 no contact. You may remember if you read my old threads that I lost my snowboard jacket and thought it was at the exe's? Well, I text him this evening and had a perfectly nice text exhange, amazingly he does have the jacket and offered to drop it round. He sounds like he's been having a pretty rubbish time since the split which is always reassuring to hear ;-) Anyway we've arranged to speak on Monday to agree when he should drop the jacket round so I'll keep you posted. The good thing is that with a good dose of NC I feel pretty ambivalent about seeing him, so I'm hoping when I DO actually see him that remains to be the case. PLUS i have a hot date this Friday with someone else so we will see how it goes, life is good
