Coconut Twin
Fantasy was indeed Fantasy The frisson of early days The contempt of later months Falling from the stars To earth with an enormous thud Alas, reality has indeed set in Yet in our fantasies we effortlessly swim For it would take a lifes supply of water to quench the arid earth The love had indeed run dry One could not prepare for such hurt So the fantasy was indeed a fantasy The reality set in, the cloud concealed the sun And the darkness intrudes within The torment of uncertainty Pervades the weakest mind Yet they carry on dancing as if they were blind But they were indeed awake And we were indeed asleep Was all this a fantasy? A fantasy it was indeed Link to comment
