wasabi
my wife was back at the dr's yesterday with some more spotting, she's at the end of her 17th week, the dr told her she has a low lying placenta. Has anyone had this? I don't think that it is anything to be overly concerned about, only if her bleeding picks up, but again, it's just some spotting of dark brown (old) blood..she has to limit her activitie for the next two weeks and see if she has anymore spotting. from what I have read, as you go further into your pregnancy, the body naturally pulls the placenta away from the cervix, but I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had or heard of this condition. Thanks!! Link to comment
abcd1234
Hey wasabi, I just did some searching and found this for you: womens-health.co.uk/praevia.htm Hopefully it should answer most of your questions! I dont think its anything to be overly concerned about as it is solved in the majority of women before labour starts. abcd1234 Link to comment
