gino/ginas

Lately i have been hearing the term "gino" and "gina" to describe a certain type of person, can anyone please enlighten me as to what a gino is exactly?

I have tried to do some background search on search engines, but couldn't find any related topics that would describe the meaning of these words. I hope that someone will find this question some day and will be able to answer this question anyways.

Perhaps it is a shortened term for "vagina?" Is that going to get beeped out? Ok, just add "va" in front of your word. That's my only thought.

You're in Canada, maybe it's a shortened French word? Like saying "'mano" instead of "hermano" in Spanish? (That's "Brother" by the way)

ommmgggg... a gino and a gina is someone thats italian or portugese or latino or just wannabes lol..they dress like in diesel, energie, parasuco, buffao, miss sixty...for example me! lol
