I`m off to meet my girl in a bit and was wondering if anyone had any good first lines to say (when you first speak to them)?

Sorry I worded that badly! Basically I was just looking for good openers which make them think a bit more ya know? Thanks for the prompt reply though

What interests you about your girl? Are there things she does that you're interested in? When did you last see her, and has she done anything exciting since then? Rather than trying to control/impress/make her think a bit more, concentrate on her and find out more about her!

Talk about something funny from some other date. The last girl had a good one on our first meeting:

 

"Have you met anyone else before on that site? The last guy I met for coffee wanted to hold hands right away. Weird, huh?"

 

I should have joked and told her, "Aw, man! I was going to do that! You're saying it's weird? Now I can't, I guess." I thought of that too late, but she would have thought it was funny. Damn nerves!

 

Just say something funny and safe like that. Or just hope she sets you up for a "cute" joke right away!

Truthfully, what you say is not as important as the delivery. Stand up straight, give her a big smile and say whatever youre going to say with plenty of confidence.
