WhyTry
does anybody else get less hungry the warmer it gets? food sort of makes me nauseous the warmer it is. not sure why. Link to comment
stranded247
No I totally get this I think eating too much in the heat is unbearable. I'm like you, I eat a lot less because i'm not so hungry and strangely enough I also have a lot more energy. I don't know why but I think it's quite common for most people in the summer. tastytoothpaste
That's quite common. I don't know if you've noticed, but food is seasonal. During the winter, you might cook an oven roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, but in the summer, you'll have salads and sandwiches and stuff like that....That's how it is in my family anyway. COtuner
Also make sure you're drinking enough. But yes, I eat less in the summer than winter too, but I think some of it is psychological on my part because I'm more aware that more of my body is visible Link to comment
Alezia
Yeah same here. =) Not nauseous but I will have lighter meals and lighter portions naturally. Link to comment
Raebob
I've been getting exactly the same lately. My eating habits go a bit strange like that from time to time anyway, but it gets worse during the summer-I don't like to eat cooked foods because the idea makes me feel sick. I don't mind it, especially because of the posts I've just read on here saying it's common, but my parents are getting concerned about it =\ Link to comment
