it feels pointless

sometimes, life feels so pointless when you can't find a job you desire -- i'm desperate for money and i want to earn it decently... it's ridiculous - the competition, the qualifications... it doesn't end. i've been applying for various positions and asking friends and family and... it just feels pointless and useless b/c i'm stuck with one job that is close to minimum wage... it could all be worse but this already feels pretty bad. ugh... can anyone relate?

I can relate... I've sounded articulate and intelligent at interviews for places I WANTED to work, but the best I could get is at Wal-Fart pushing carts around (and I suck at THAT too -_-) It's sad how there's almost no such thing as "good, honest hard work" anymore; it's "holding onto a job in a dog-eat-dog-world" where your co-worker becomes your rival as opposed to your support.

It sucks and I learned it's two ways to get a halfway decent job
