huskiesfan
Sometimes as I sit And pluck at my guitar Watching the still autumn sky I think of a heart of stone. A heart of stone. To protect me from the cold of the winter To shield me from the departure of the spring To keep me company through the isolation That this departure did bring. A heart of stone. To shield me from the pain of the heart. To keep me company When another person’s spring comes. But then I remember My heart of flesh and blood still beats Can I turn this to stone? I don’t think so. And so I stand and face the new day. Spring will return once more. Link to comment
