Cognitive_Canine
what is the job? Link to comment
redhearts
No, and what is the job for? For a magazine job possibly. Link to comment
Cognitive_Canine
I would just trade out the boots for something more held back. Like a nice pair of kitten heels. Link to comment
kuiks8
working as a job coach with persons with disabilities... Link to comment
Seraphim
I would try to be more classical than trendy and wear a nice pair of pumps, save the flair for when you have the job. Link to comment
taxi10
I would call the employer to ask whether there is a dress code but that dress looks pretty cool. Link to comment
Cognitive_Canine
working as a job coach with persons with disabilities... In that case, I love the dress. Jobs like that require clean YET warm and approacable outfits. That dress let's people know that you are a people person. Link to comment
redhearts
Nice outfit for a first date, not an interview. I suggest something a bit more like dress pants, low heels and a nice shirt. Link to comment
redhearts
BTW, you want your skills and experience to stand out, not your dress. That dress is a bit too busy. But yes a very awesome dress! =] Link to comment

kuiks8
ok...boring black pants and shirt it is...i agree with DW though, i wanted them to see my personality and that i am unique as i think this job calls for a super personality and warmth etc... Link to comment
SapphireNoir10
Go for what feels right. I'd say for for the dress but not the boots with it. Link to comment

Ever watch the show "what not to wear"? It is a great show about using color and patterns professionally. Find one piece that has a fun pattern or nice color and then everything else should be professional. Try that dress but with a cropped black or brown jacket, with modest matching color shoes. chasey
love the dress and boots!! but the black pants and shirt would probably be better for the interview. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment
redhearts
You can still show your personality! By maybe your purse, or a small accessory or your shoes or a belt. Link to comment

Yes, I do agree you have a wonderful personality, but I think at the interview is not the first time to let that explode other than through words. Link to comment

bijoux27
Good luck kuiks!! It's a nice outfit but you'd be safer with the simple pants and shirt. You could wear that outfit on your first day of work. Link to comment
just M.E.
Good luck, you'll do well, I know it. Link to comment
kuiks8
so i am back. I think it went well. It would be such an awesome position. I don't have that much work experience but i have volunteer experience and a heart to work with people with disabilities so i hope that counts towards it! I am going to wear the outfit tonight when the new boy comes over lol! thanks again to everyone! Link to comment
