do you ever regret pushing a friend away?

I wonder if anyone has ever broken a friendship to finally discover that that friend was actually a great person and if you miss them from time to time.

 

I ask because I had a "friend" who I was a great to, but she pushed me away because of her issues I guess. I think one day she's going to understand that truly good friends are hard to come by and I was truly a great friend.

Don't worry about her missing having a good friend, just be happy that you've lost one that wasn't so good.

If she pushed you away then she's not a good friend, is she? She'll come back if she's truly a good person. Don't fret, there are plenty of other good people in the world you will come to know.

Look - if she valued friendship by your definition - she wouldn't have pushed you away.

 

You've got issues trying to evaluate why you're being dismissed - by someone you claim as "issues".

 

She doesn't define friendship as you do - tehrefore you two weren't a good fit.

 

If you were a good friend to her by YOUR definition - that's all that counts.

yes, some of my issues have caused issues w friend(s) and i regret it...

 

you just try to make it right, but sometimes once the damage is done is never quite the same...
