Shudder
I just moved to a new city and don't know too many people. I've been here for a few months and met some people through work and courses I took but I find it a little hard to keep in touch due to age differences and lifestyles etc. I was just wondering where are some good place to meet people? thanks Link to comment
zachiphus
what are some things you are interested in doing? Do you enjoy working out? Exercising? Join a yoga or kick-boxing class or join a gym. Like reading books? Go to the library or bookstores more often. Just go to different places and you'll eventually meet some cool people. Link to comment
tigerguy
I've had the same problem. I moved to a new state three years ago and into a very small town where there's nothing to do. The nearest big city is an hour away and I only make it there two or three times a month. I have the same issues with age differences and lifestyle differences here and so my social life has been less than exciting. I hope to move to the city this summer if a job opportunity comes through. So I feel your pain. Definitely not fun. Link to comment
hers
Join link removed. That's what I did. I found a book club and movie club. It's just something to do when you get bored. I've met a bunch of great people htat way. Link to comment
