X ShadowDreamz X
My boyfriend and I were talking about having sex 2 days ago. At the time, I was thinking that I was ready to do it, but now I am having second thoughts. How do you know you are ready to have sex? Is there a way I can get birth control without my parents knowing? Link to comment
Mar
If you have ANY doubts about this, I would hold off. You'll know when you're sure. Also, you brought up a VERY good point-protection. Of course condoms are available anywhere, and I highly suggest you or your b/f get some and USE them....don't let either of you get "carried away" and try something dumb like the pull-out method because you or he doesn't feel like taking the time to put one on, that's just as risky as anything. Sit on it......if you're still living with your parents and are worried about them finding out, this suggests to me that you're still rather young. There's NO rush involved with sex, it's a huge change and one that should only be undertaken withy someone you truly, deeply love and who will respect you, and someone you have NO doubts you're ready with. musicguy
I fully agree wtih Mar. If you are doubting having sex, then you aren't ready. There are a lot of emotions that you go thru when having sex. I'd rather you be safe than sorry. Get condoms, get birth control pills. whatever you need to be safe. Musicguy Link to comment

Prince
When you are ready you will know I guess. Just ask yourself whether you are emotionally comfortable. Physically, provided you have passed through puberty, I s'pose there is no time thouhg. Just ask yourself if you would be emotionally comfortable. Link to comment
