Well, I've never kissed before myself, but I do not believe you have done anything wrong, that guy seemed a little hasty. I'm no professionaly, but I say he is not the right person for you. And breaking up because you didn't kiss... seems quite odd. I hope I answered you.

I think my question has been skewered. I did ask how to "tell if I am ready for my first kiss" didn't I? Or maybe I missed the answer somwhere.

Maybe it would be helpful to add that I am a very shy person....

I am 16. I have yet to meet my first girlfriend (she is also 16.) for our relationship is a long-distance online one. She has had a boyfriend prior to me, and she has had a kiss. We occasionally talk about my first kiss. As I recently think about it, I feel I may not be ready for a kiss when we meet for real. So, my question is this: How do I know when I am ready for my first kiss?
