Here is my situation, I'll keep it short. My friend and I have virtually known eachother all our lives, our families are really close. Probably about a year ago I started really liking her, but I'm not sure if she feels the same way. We have really good eye contact and conversations, she flirts moderately with me, and we talk about 2-3 times a week.
Also, a situation happened a few weeks ago that got me curious. We were at the same anniversery party for my grandparents, and a guy I know asked her to dance. They danced for a little bit, then when she went back to sit down, he sat down right next to her. I sat down next to my friend a couple of tables over. Probably about a minute later, she pokes me in the back and sits right next to me (with the guy following her and sitting next to her). Were all kind of talking and laughing, but she just totally ignores the other guy, not even looking at him (looking at me) to the point he just gets up and leaves us.
I don't know, I'm confused. I want to ask her out, but I also don't want to ruin the friendship that we have now.
