  1. image removed I just love his style of writing, even though this is only around my sixth book of his. It's very good so far.
  2. An absolutely fantastic and widely-acclaimed book. I'm re-reading it a year after it came out and it's just as good. It's so descriptive, it makes you feel like you're actually in the Vietnam War. It's a work of fiction but was written by a vet. I cannot recommend it enough. image removed
  3. In the spirit of my avatar, I read "The Killing Joke" by Alan Moore.
  4. One of my all time favorites, baby! image removed
  5. The Backlash: Right-Wing Radicals, High-Def Hucksters, and Paranoid Politics in the Age of Obama by Will Bunch.
  6. "Common Nonsense: Glenn Beck and the Triumph of Ignorance" by Alexander Zaitchik.
  7. Every one of you should stop whatever you're doing and read this right now. I finished it today and it will stick with me for a long time. link removed Realistic fiction of marines in the Vietnam war. Written by a decorated LT who was actually there. It took him 30 years to write.
  8. Murder Machine by Gene Mustain and Jerry Capeci. It's about Roy Demeo and his band of serial-killing mafia guys.
  9. Reading "Fight Club" for a second time. I first read a library copy around two years ago. Now I'm reading my own autographed copy. It''s been said over and over again, but man, that book is witty.
  10. I'm going to finish re-reading Roberto Saviano's "Gomorrah" tonight. And Pink, Franny and Zooey is fantastic.
  11. (In Adam West voice) It seems this lame thread is somehow trying to be relevant again. But never fear, old chum, I know the culprit! A GOOGLE SEARCH!
