  1. Life indeed is cruel sometimes.

There does come a point when you have to finally realise *its unlikely to ever happen...I must move on*. Its vital you do reach that point though, otherwise you will feel like you are betraying them when you are with anyone else.

  2. In your situation, Id have a lot of questions and thoughts.

(firstly, Im really sorry to hear that, thats terrible).

When people suddenly change overnight, it usually isnt anything to do with their boyfriend/girlfriend. YOU hadnt changed, so something in his head did..and something must have triggered that...has anything else happened in his life lately that is major and may have made him re-evaluate (maybe rashly) everything?

an example....I broke up with someone once because I met a guy and his girlfriend who were clearly so right for each other and i thought *me and (exs name) are never going to be like that, oh g-d, must end it NOW* so I did. And I regretted it.

  3. That's a pretty interesting question.

I chose enotalone as my new msgboard *home* because I don't know anyone I know who ever reads it/comes here.

Mostly, problems I post about on here I could talk over with my S.O...but if i posted a post about HIM, Im not sure hes the type to ever appreciate having our issues written about on a msgboard.

Personally, Id be flattered in a way if my S.O used a msgboard about me..aside from the fact that would mean they had a problem with me..they obviously care!

  4. Yes, it may be schizophrenia...or, the first signs of onset, meaning it is important you get it checked out.

By bizarre conincidence, I spent a few days ago terrified and upset because i was *sure* the world was going to end. Its scary what the mind can do...but thoughts cannot kill you, i find that a helpful mantra sometimes.

  5. hmmm....

Complicated. If I found out my significant other only had one friend in the world, I'd be concerned..either for them, as they must lack social skills or confidence...or I'd be concerned because something must be up with them if they have *No Friends*.

On the other side...well...my boyfriend spent new year with mates, but then that was arranged before we met, and I havnt met his friends or him mine because they have nothing in common (many reasons) so I dont know...Id expect him to spend New Year with me if we had met before his mates asked him to do anything.

Oh but actually..is that too controlling?!?? Hm. Sometimes I just need a night with my mates, I could understand where he was coming from.

  6. Are you and her friends, or in a relationship?

I'd say theres nothing wrong with saying you love someone if you mean it, but if she is sensitive or you two arnt particularly close in relationship sense, she may be a little...fazed by it.
