Hi I wrote about this before but have a update and would like if somebody could explain why this all happened. I work in a mall and I go to a Chinese resturant for lunch etc everyday. Well back in the summer I was standing outside of my workplace and this girl from the chinese resturant "Amy" was standing outside her resturant. I felt like somebody was looking at me. I looked up and it was Amy. I thought hmm interesting. She is shy and we never spoke to each other. Well I continued going there and thinking she is beautiful but never spoke to her. So a few months later she asks me if I work at XYZ. That was the first time we spoke. I really started to like her and being shy like her I got the nerve to talk to her. It was the day after Thanksgiving. I said "How are you today?" she said "OK" then she just stared at me like a deer in the headlights. I got nervous and thought gee I better say something else. She then talked a little bit to me and I said Ok I will see you. I started to walk away and she almost yells "Have a nice day!! Bye Bye" I thought gee why so loud. I then thought ok well now we sort of know each other and we will speak to each other when we see each other. I went in the next day and she did not say anything to me. Then I was walking through the parking lot of the mall and here she was also walking through the parking lot in front of me and off to the right. Her friend turned around and saw me and then tapped her on the shoulder and pointed me out to her. " I was not looking at them. I found out another way." I of course thought that was a good sign. Another time she is walking in to work and see looks at me I was turned around and she points her hands over her face and looked down at the ground then looked up at me then would walk some then look over at me again. She continued looking over at me when she would come to work well she kind of stopped recently well last week she kind of peeked and then her friend looked over. I thought why would she always look at me? She must like me? All my friends agreed. Is there another reason why she would look at me all the time? The week before last she asks me again "You work at XYZ right?" I told her yes she then said "where do you work where they repair cars?" I said no. She did not saying anyhting else. So I was thinking why is she asking me this? She knows darn well where I work what does she think I am some weirdo who stands outside of the mall everyday. Well one day I go up to pay for my food and she says give me 2 minutes. She was adding up reciepts. I said Ok and next thing I know she pops out of the chair giggling like I made her nervous.? Now Sunday I am getting my food in there with a co-worker and he says she is looking at me. I then thought I have to do something. It was just my co-worker, myself and another employee of the chinese resutrant standing by each other so I walk behind this other woman and say to my co-worker "that Amy is Hot." Then this other girl that I wanted to hear it went over and was talking to Amy. I assumed that she told her what I said. So either it was my imagination or something else but MOnday when I went in there she seemed very friendly. *** I come to work today and this girl I work with said that Amy was in the store I work at with a guy. I said was it a friend or a boyfriend? She said it was a boyfriend I think. She and him were giggling and hitting each other and he rubbed her back! I of course was in shock. I mean why did it seem like she liked me? So I am telling this crazy woman at work and she decides to go over there and ask her if she has a boyfriend. She went over and said "what did you get for Valnetines day?" She said 1 rose. She said so you have a boyfriend? She said Yes. Then she said the reason why I am asking is because my friend who works at xyz likes you. She said OH then said have a nioe day. like she wanted to get rid of her. *********** So I am wondering did she not like me from what I have typed? this is the first woman who I thought liked me that all my friends agreed that she did. Amy only has 1 day a month off and she works from open to close everyday. How she had time for a boyfriend I don't know. The somebody mentioned to me why would this be the first time that she was in the store? Which is a good question I nor anybody else has ever seen her in the store until yesterday. Did she purposely come in the store with her boyfriend to make me jealous or something? My question is Did it not seem like she liked me? One main reason I thought she liked me was she was always looking at me when she came to work. I nor any of my friends could come up with another reason why she would look at me all the time unless she liked me. What should/could I do now? Thanks

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I can sort of relate to her shyness because I guess I have liked woman before and never did anything about it due to either me thinking I could never get the woman or just did not know what to say. Could this be how she is too? I just got back from getting food at the resturant that she works at with my friend and he says he just can't understand her she would not even look at me. I mainly base the fact that she likes me on the fact that when she is coming to work she is 99% of the time looking over where I work to see if I am outside. So once I am walking through the parking lot in my way to work and she and another co-worker of hers is walking in front of me way off to the side and something made her friend turn around. The friend saw me and then pointed me out to the girl I like. So I guess she talks about me? So I asked my friends if there is any other reason why she would be looking at me all the time other than liking me and nobody could come up with any reasons. Is there any other reasons? I am having a very hard time trying to talk to her. Would it be ok if I just asked her out, or should I talk to her more where she is comfortable with me? Thanks

I need some advice on shy people. I am shy myself but either this girl is extremely shy or I am missreading her interest. She is a Chinese woman wether that makes a difference or not I don't know. But she will never talk to me unless I talk first. I see her everyday, I eat at the resturant she works at. The main thing that gives me idea that she is interested is everyday when she comes to work I am standing outside were I work and I seen and heard from people that she is always looking over at me. The 8 other workers don't look at me she is the only one who looks at me. Am I misreading her or is there other reasons why she would look at me everyday? Now the part that bugs me is she will not speak at all. I talk to her and she will talk back. I get the idea that once people kind of speak to each other that they would have some sort of little convo when they see each other. Not so with her and No she is not busy she is a cashier and she sits around most of the time doing nothing. I want to ask her out but I am very shy about doing that plus I like to have some sort of sign that she is interested. Which I feel/felt I have with her always looking at me.

So I need some advice. I am shy and the woman I am interested in is also shy. How should I go about asking her out? Just plain ask her out or will that make her too nervous? BTW: She seems to get nervous around me. She usually acts like she has no emotion and has this face were it seems like she is completely neutral. Now the other day I was in her workplace and I was going to pay her but she was adding up some reciepts she asked me to wait 2 minutes. I said ok no problem then she just gets up giggling and laughing for no reason it just seemed like it was a very nervous laugh. Then I am she is putting counting my change and she says thank you before I was even done getting my change etc. BUt when I was actually done she was saying have a nice day bye bye very friendly/ Also I noticed the other day she was getting nervous when I was paying her and she was screwing up what she was typing in to the register??????????

I had a weird thing happen that never happened in my life and I am wondering if any ever had this happen to them or what does it mean. I like this woman who I think is shy "so am I" and I spoke to her for the first time and during our conversation I had the weirdest thing happen I am not sure what it was or why it happened but I think she was looking into my eyes or something because I got like a funny feeling and all I could see was her face, it was like there was nobody or nothing in the room but her face for a few seconds. Also I just said How are you today and she said Ok and had this Deer in the headlights look where she just kept staring at me without saying a word until I got over the shock of her looking at me like that and I spoke to her more. What the heck was that about.

Hello Thanks for the replies. The reason why I mentioned she is Chinese is because I assume they act differently due to them being from a different culture. Hmm the part about talking to her in the workplace is interesting. I thought that would be ok because I am a customer etc. I must have a really laid back job because we talk all the time without anybody saying anything although my mom has told me we get away with murder at my job . When would a appropriate time be since I only see her at work and don't know her at all outside of her work. Is everybody saying that they think she was just being friendly? The reasons why I thought differently I was standing outside of my work one day and I had that feeling somebody was looking at me and I looked up and saw her looking at me, then she looked away once I looked at her. Then she did it all over again. When I go in there she will not look at me but when i am getting my food i see her watching me. Also when I did get the nerve to talk to her she was staring at me and seemed to be alot more friendly than a normal person would plus she just about yells "HAVE A NICE DAY" I never had it yelled to me. Hello I need some advice on a beautiful Chinese woman I want to go out with. I go into the resturant were she works all the time. We never spoke to each other, well one day she asked me were I work. A week or so later I got the courage to talk to her. I just said "How are you today." She smiled said she was OK then she just stared at me with the Deer in the headlights look. I was kind of in shock and confused why she had that look. I then thought of something else to say to her then she warmed up spoke to me and was smiling at me alot. One point during the chatting she must of given me a look or was staring into my eyes because all of a sudden I got this funny feeling and all I remember at that point all I saw was her face, it was like her face was the only thing in the room. I got done talking and said I will see you later and started to walk away. She then says loudly almost yelling Have A Nice Day. I left and thought wow that went alot better than I expected. Because she seems like she is not a very friendly person or just shy. Anyway I think ok so now we sort of know each other and we will talk everytime I see her. The next day I go in there I am expecting her to be all friendly and speak to me but she did not all she did was told me how much I owed and that was it. I was surprised and confused why she does not speak now. Does it any of this make any sense? Thanks So Much
