I have been seeing this guy for a few weeks and he asks me to come over every week and everything... it's just... he doesn't call me like I'd think a guy that is interested would do. He works 3rd shift on the weekends so weekends are pretty much shot. But when he does ask me to come over, it's only once or twice a week at the most. And it's like, we get close and affectionate... but it's almost like he's afraid to get too close... or too attached. I talked to his friend online one night and he said, "He's a very different guy. Please hang in there, though. He hasn't really acted this way towards a girl since I've known him. He seems to be quite interested in you. I think you would do nothing but good for him compared to all the shallow girls he talks to. Just hang in there... he'll come around. Just don't text him or call him constantly because he tends to lose interest in girls that do so. He'll come around, but please hang in there. You're such a good person." I don't know how to take that and I've never been in this kind of situation before. I don't know if he doesn't want a commitment and if I should even waste my time... I remember I texted him and asked him specifically, "Are you really interested in me?" And he replied, "Yes, I would definitely like to get to know you better." ... believe me... this guy is very very sweet and compassionate... he just doesn't take the extra leep to prove to me he definitely wants a relationship out of this... that's why I turned this forum to see what other people would have to say... please help me...
