I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 4yrs. Recently i was looking through his phone and saw that his ex girlfriend text messaged him 3 separate times saying that she "loves" him. So i asked him why? and all he could say was "he can't control her doing this" and that they share a special bond together. Being that we have been together this long i had no idea, haven't seen any signs or anything. Ok, so i asked him to tell me what's going on between them two, and he tells me that they have gained feelings for one another. My lips dropped to the floor and i was so hurt right that moment ( and still is now). I couldn't believe this. I told him that its best for him to stay away , and just leave me alone from this point on. Its very hard to let him go like that because i love him so much.
Can anyone give me some good advice on how to let go. I cannot stop crying, this is so hard for me.
