What does this mean?

Let say a girl met a guy for the first time in a coffee shop. The guy and the girl talks for some time. Later, when the guy and the girl have to leave the coffee shop, the guy pats on the girl's back lightly. Then later he hugs her and say goodbye. Does the patting on the girl's back and hugging her mean anything? Normally, would a guy meet a girl first time would do something like that? Is his actions just trying to be friendly and nice?

Something similar happened to me once. I was being introduced to a girl I haven't met before and she gave me a hug. Usually its a hand shake first but It doesn't matter. It could be anything.

the first thing you want when you get some of these seemingly vague signals from someone is verification on what they mean. I'd say you are posting about this you are attracted to him? Well first I'll tell you that if he was interested, he would have been trying to read your body languauge to see if you were interested. So, what were you doing?

 

In the end, you gotta go with your gut feeling. If you're right the two of you will probably have established some good chemistry, no?
