I recently asked for help with ending a relationship with a bartender. No-one answered correctly.

I think that the advice given to you before was quite good. But I also understand that this is a new hearbreak, and you are seaching for any answer so this can make some sense to you.

I think you have to decide what is best for you right now. You mentioned she will not release you from your promises...well its not really up to her. At this point I assume she is not keeping hers.

It is important you step away for awhile. You dont have to give up, or stop loving her...but you do need to give her the space she requests. And you need to be in a place that you are not going "crazy"...which means only you can set boundries for you. Once she decided she was not going to continue on the path you were on, she lost her decision making power over you....you have to take care of YOU.
