snowchild
I was just wondering if anyone actually pays for online dating services? I've joined a few but never upgraded my subscription as they are all extortionately priced. How much would you be willing to pay for online dating services? Link to comment
secret_agent_man
Yes, I'm in agreement with SwingFox here, I have heard these stories as well. If you think about it, it's a pretty easy scam to get away with, so why wouldn't they do it. It would be hard to prove they ripped you off! There are a few free sites, I'd go for those if I were you. I know that "link removed" has worked for a friend of mine, and I believe "link removed" is OK as well. I wouldn't go with any site that you haven't heard of before... Just my two cents! (I'm runnin' out of change, too) Good luck! S.A.M. Link to comment
glassbell
That's right, don't trust those dating sites too easily. Stick with some free dating sites, I'm sure there are some left. Also there are other ways to meet people online, like with msn profiles, yahoo profiles, which are all free. On the other hand though, recently I read an article in a Dutch magazine about online-dating and it advised to subscribe to a payed service in order to get more serious respons. Just be careful, read their policies beforehand, and see if you can find people who have experience with the site. ~Glassbell Link to comment
wonderer
Yes, I have paid for Yahoo Personals and it does work. It's a very good service and if my boyfriend and I don't work out, I would do it again. Link to comment
