no but i have a cousin that's a RCMP officer and we're very proud of her.. i'm sure you'll make your mom proud and worried... my advise, start working out.. you'll need to be in shape for all the training you'll be doing at the academy. good luck and great choice

1. Don't do drugs

2. Do lots of volunteer work

3. Get strong

4. Get experience in resolving crisis situations

5. Study hard

6. Discipine yourself to be punctual

7. Show leadership in every situation

8. Anticipate how working at night and working rotating shifts will affect your personal life (ie. will your future wife sleep well at night knowing you are out working at night??? )

Search the Internet for your state/county/local police's website. Read it in detail, and contact some of the contacts listed with specific questions...
