Retail therapy

Guys take note - girls have been right all along If you are feeling like crap, buy yourself a really extravagant present. I went and bought myself a newish Peugeot (for US readers, thats a french car), something I had had been wanting for a long time. Would never had done with the ex, but i wasnt spending money on us anymore, so i spent it on me.

 

Doesnt really help the situation, but puts a smile on my face every time i get in it.

 

Mind you, most retail therapy involves a new pair if pants or something...

That's a bit more retail therapy than usual, but yeah I like to go that route once in a while myself.

Hey that's OK, when I went through a really bad breakup in 2000 I also bought myself a newish sporty car.... as you say it was a BIG consolation prize, but I sure did love that car and it make me very happy until it died last year! 8)

Retail therapy is good if you could afford it.

It is better not to go into debts just to get a consulation prize.
