Feel like I'm ready to leave...Need some insight and input

So I've posted on here multiple times...regarding my 2 year relationship with my boyfriend. I think I'm ready to walk away, I feel the most confident about it than ever at the moment and I think it's what needs to be done. It's kind of at the point where the joke is on me if I stay, it's a bit of a slap in the face to be honest. Problem is, I know I'm going to come crashing down, and miss him and go through a world of hurt. I would really love some advice/stories/anything of what I can expect and whats normal and how other people have got through it. Success stories are very very welcome.

The best thing for my past relationship was taking a break. Decide if that's what you want to do or if its really the best decision for you to walk away. In the end, stay with people who give and make you feel confident about being with them, you might just find that you miss your memories more than the person...
