Should i try again

last week i asked a girl out, to go to a movie, she told me she would go but had to work so she couldnt go, Should i ask her again or do you think it sounds too desperate. I was thinking of calling her or text messaging her on christmas just to say merry christmas and then bring it up if she wants to go

doesn't sound desperate at all...but I wouldn't lump your merry christmas in with a date request....

 

call her and ask her if she wants to do something after the holiday...then on christmas text her a merry christmas! just to show what a nice guy you are.

I wouldn't say it's desperate

 

Just ask her if she wants to hang out sometime during the holidays and get together and celebrate pre-christmas (since she might be spending christmas with her family) go around town, watch a movie - have a cup.
