Facebook boyfriend - Good Idea?

k so my friend has known this guy for a loooong time, and shes developed a crush on him. she was on facebook with her friend, chatting to him, then she left for a while and her friend asked him out for her. When she realised, she didnt tell the guy that it was her friend, because she wanted to know what he would say. That was a few days ago and he said he would get back to her, but he still hasnt actually said if he wanted to go out with her or not, so she's waiting on the answer. she's asking for my advice, but i don't know what to say!

If it takes him that long to decide, he probably isn't THAT interested. If you're young maybe he has to discuss it with his friends first, especially if it's the first time a girl asked him out lol.
