blueidealist24
In my job search this morning I came accross an ad looking for online ESL teachers. However, there was no company name provided and they just described themselves as an "expanding" program. There was a city given but no exact address. I've been taken in by a couple of jobs that were not what they said they were in the past, so I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with online ESL teaching and if you think this is a scam or not. Thanks! Link to comment
EssexMan
I'd be cautious. PM me a link to the ad if you like and I'll take a look. Link to comment
blueidealist24
I just noticed that I don't have the computer requirements for the job anyway (ie. dual monitor) and I'm not going to go out and buy a bunch of equipment for it. I'll just forget this one. Link to comment
Snny
If there's company name or address, it's a scam. You need that information to do a background check and see if they are a legit company. Don't accept anything that doesn't have an employer name or an address. Link to comment
