Honestly, i think that men like anal sex because they want to violate you in the worst way possible. when i say "violate" i dont mean take advantage of. rather, i mean to take control or domination of. because one's anus is a very private and taboo area, it arouses the curiosity of men. men like anal sex for the same reason that they like women to swallow. they feel like you are accepting a part of them into you and for that nanosecond or so, they have complete control. also, i just wanted to say, that no harm can come to you during anal sex as long as you take precautions to use LOTS of lubrication, go slowly, and totally be into it. Kbelles Posted November 6, 2004 Share Posted November 6, 2004 when i say that no harm can come to you i mean that after doing it once you wont be limping around with messed up bowel functions for the rest of your life. i actually have spoken to several doctors about this very topic and have actually heard from other sources (gay men, experts on tv, experts on radio, etc...) that of course you will tear the lining of your rectum if you do not use a ridiculus amount of lubrication beacuse the anus does not make its OWN lubrication, unlike the vagina. the anus has two sphincters, an outer sphincter (the one you can control), and an inner sphincter (the one you CAN'T control). you are right, the bowels are meant to move things out and not in so in order to accommodate the inner sphincter (whose reflex is to tighten up when an object is pushed against its gradient), you must proceed slowly. once you are able to push past the outer sphincter, the inner one will tighten and that is when you have to pause b/c it will begin to relax within a few seconds. at this point, your inner sphincter will be relaxed enough to accommodate a penis. and it should be easier to push all the way through. this is some info that was given to me by a gay male friend and corroborated by input from one of my doctors... There is a point of tightness around the base of the penis (the sphincter area) and there is a lot more control that the woman can have on clenching and unclenching her ring. This can cause an incredible tightness and unusual sensation for the man. Of course a woman can do this with her vagina as well, but since most women don't practice it they can't really do it. I just don't get the whole thing but am trying to understand, lol U must of seen programs about doctors and injuries and occasionally on these shows u get the funny part were they show x-rays of people who "accidently" fell on things like jars, oranges, phones, shampoo bottles . Im sure many of those items are bigger than penises. Well its a benefit for guys with small penises (my God, there is a benefit for a small penis, surely not ) Link to comment

I just don't get the whole thing but am trying to understand, lol Well, I can't help on the first part. I am about 5 inches around and have no experience with other guys. We currently are using a lube called Probe. This is a water based lube and is compatable with condoms. We have used a mineral oil based lube and it lasts longer, but clean up is more of a chore. I liked it better, she complained about it being hard to wash out of the sheets. Don't ever use a mineral oil based lube with condoms. Probe works pretty good, doesn't taste too bad, and cleans up easily. Link to comment

The average penis circumference is about 5.1 inches. I thought that sounded a lot but I measured myself and I was pleasantly surprised that I was bang on that size. I told my mates when we discussing penis size and they thought that 5 inches circumference was huge and didn't believe me til they measured themselves and found they were of similar size.
